• Time To Slow Down and Share My Heart With Christ 

The holy hour  has provided an atmosphere for me to cultivate a friendship with Christ. Time to become vulnerable and open up my heart more deeply with Christ.  My ideas, my plans, my worries, my frustrations etc…

•  Time To Listen Deeply

The holy hour has given me the time to ask hard questions and listen more deeply to the heart of Christ and the whispers of the Holy Spirit.

• Time For Christ To Transform My Mind and My Heart 

My holy hour over the years has helped me see the events and people I encounter more and more through His eyes.  I am getting better at interacting with my family and the people I encounter during the day with a more Christ-animated love.

• Sharing My Heart and Being Receptive To The Holy Spirit

It is challenging for me to slow down and open up my heart to Christ in prayer. Sharing my struggles and challenges, and then listening with a receptive heart to what the Holy Spirit wants to share with me.  I continue to have lots of room for improvement in both of these areas.  Some days are easier than others.  

•  Making It A Priority In My Day

I have a deep conviction about protecting my mornings to give Christ the first fruits of my day.  Getting my holy hour in has required me to make hard sacrifices, or give an extra effort at times to keep my morning time with Christ a priority.  When I don’t get the hoy hour in, I can always feel the difference.
